Symaga, a manufacturer of galvanized steel silos, invests in new laser welding technology

Symaga recently installed an 8kw laser, increasing productivity by 50% and allowing it to be processed to a thickness of up to 30mm.

The laser also uses 75% less power and reduces the amount of gas during cutting operations.

Symaga, a manufacturer of galvanised steel silos, is investing to improve productivity while remaining environmentally friendly.

Its welding division has made progress in monitoring all tasks performed by robots in real time, allowing the company to collect relevant manufacturing production data.

The new UPN welding set and the new robot are more powerful because they are made from pulsed arc welding equipment, which increases speed and improves work on the edges of difficult surfaces. In addition, vented welding mesh was purchased to prevent workers from inhaling welding gases.
