ANELLO Photonics has announced the unveiling of the world's smallest optical gyroscopic inertial navigation system, the ANELLO GNSS INS. According to the introduction, the special advantage of the system is that it can achieve strong and reliable long-term navigation and positioning that traditional GPS cannot achieve.
Powered by ANELLO's unique optical gyroscope technology and ANELLO's AI-based sensor fusion engine, ANELLO GNSS INS provides powerful, high-precision positioning and orientation for applications in the agriculture, construction, trucking and autonomous vehicle sectors. Unlike other reference systems, ANELLO GNSS INS offers superior accuracy in high temperature and high vibration applications.
"Interest in and demand for our optical gyro technology is growing rapidly, and we are actively working with customers who need powerful, high-precision optical gyro solutions for their autonomous applications," said Dr. Mario Paniccia, CEO of ANELLO Photonics. "The ANELLO GNSS INS were developed in collaboration with our customers and we are proud to be able to bring to market the world's smallest optical gyro inertial navigation system, designed for today's demanding autonomous applications."
The ANELLO GNSS INS system was designed with security, robustness and ease of use in mind. Seamless navigation and positioning in challenging environments enables ANELLO's optical gyroscope technology to support a variety of customer applications in construction, agriculture, trucking, robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles and more. ANELLO GNSS INS comes with the following standard features:
- Independent heading drift < 0.5 ° / hour
- Dual multi-band RTK capable GNSS engine
- ASIL-D prepares automotive qualified cpus
- Automotive 2-Wire Ethernet (100Base-T1)
- Dual high-speed CAN-FD ports
- Dual RS-232 ports
- Hardware Precise Time Protocol (PTP), IEEE 802.1AS
- IP68 class waterproof, resistant to dust, salt spray and chemicals
