looking to make a door hanger how do i get the pattern into the inside as in pic .confused

2023-10-171. Reposition only the inside line of the outline shape on top of the pattern 2. Select both pattern image and outline 3. Tools->Apply mask to image 4. Reposition outside line of outline shape on top of masked image.
