"At present, there are 20 laser listed enterprises in China, with a revenue of 23.041 billion yuan in the first half of the year, including 9 in Shenzhen, with a revenue of 13.31 billion yuan in the first half of the year, accounting for about 57.8%. From this perspective, the revenue of Shenzhen laser industry in the first half of the year accounted for half of the country's total, ranking first in both the industry status quo and the application market." Shao Huo believes that, after rapid development in recent years, Shenzhen's laser and additive manufacturing industry innovation capacity has been continuously enhanced, the industrial chain has basically formed, and the industrial cluster development group has significantly accelerated. The laser industry has become a huge force to promote the economic development of Shenzhen.
He believed that Shenzhen was in the forefront of the country in the development foundation, resources, technology and other fields of high-end equipment manufacturing, and all links of the industrial chain were relatively complete, and made a forward-looking layout in technology breakthrough, industry incubation and other aspects. "The introduction of Shenzhen Action Plan for Fostering and Developing Laser and Additive Manufacturing Industry Clusters (2022-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) reflects the characteristics of Shenzhen's rapid policy formulation and strong implementation ability." Shao Huo said.
It is worth mentioning that the Plan not only strengthens the top-level design of the laser and additive manufacturing industry, but also creates a development roadmap for the industry. In Shao Huo's view, to achieve the goals in the plan, we should not only create an ecological system with innovation leading and structural optimization, but also adhere to the principle of dislocation development, promote the industry to gradually climb up the value chain, and form a competitive international laser and additive manufacturing industry headquarters.
