On September 17, the General Department of Customs and Regulations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held the 2022 annual interim work report meeting of the Class A pilot special "Advanced Direct Drive Laser Technology" project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences online. A total of 72 people, including Zhang Jie, academician of the CAS Member, Li Xuechun, deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and mechanics, Zhu Jianqiang, director of the General Department of convention of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Joint Laboratory of high power laser physics, experts of the general technical group of the special subject, and principals of sub topics from the Shanghai Institute of Optics and mechanics, the Shanghai Institute of silicate, the University of science and technology of China, the Fujian Institute of physics, the Institute of Optoelectronics Technology, and the University of national defense science and technology, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Xuechun, deputy director of the institute, and Zhu Jian, researcher.
For the work of DCI driver platform design and advanced key technologies this year, 27 project leaders reported the interim progress, and put forward the difficulties encountered in the implementation of the current project and the response plan; The experts of the overall technical team of the project review the progress of the task indicators of each subject one by one to ensure the smooth implementation of the annual task.
Researcher Zhu Jianqiang emphasized the importance of the research work boundary in his speech. Only by ensuring the research work boundary and strictly following the plan, can the project tasks be carried out smoothly. Academician Zhang Jie summarized that, under the current international situation, the project has encountered important opportunities, and hoped that the team would further improve the indicators and reach the milestone indicators as soon as possible.
