When the winding is connected to an AC power source, a traveling wave magnetic field is generated in the air gap. Under the cutting of the secondary traveling wave magnetic field, an electromotive force is induced to generate current. When the current interacts with the magnetic field in the air gap, electromagnetic thrust is generated. If the main rod is fixed, the auxiliary rod moves in a straight line under the action of thrust. On the contrary, the actions of beginners are linear.
