03-11Laser cutting, CNC, and wire cutting are common metal processing methods, each with unique advantages and disadvantages. The main characteristics of laser cutting are fast cutting speed and good cutting quality, but it may be sticky and have water outlets. Especially in the production of die-cut parts, laser cutting can serve as an alternative solution to mechanical cutting processes, providing higher accuracy and faster prototyping capabilities. Wire cutting is mainly suitable for cutting conductive materials and must be equipped with cutting coolant. Its advantage is that it can cut thick sheet metal in one go, but the cutting surface is relatively rough. The cost of wire cutting is relatively low, but its application range is relatively limited, and it can only cut conductive materials. The cost of CNC machine tool machining is relatively high, but its machining accuracy is high, suitable for processing various materials. Although laser cutting has advantages in certain applications, due to its high cost and certain limitations, it is unlikely to completely replace CNC and wire cutting. On the contrary, they each have their own strengths in different application scenarios and may continue to coexist and develop independently.

03-11It is completely impossible to replace CNC, as the required features are completely different. From a functional perspective, most of the work that laser can cut can be done on the wire, but the speed is slow. However, most of the work done on wire cutting cannot be done by laser cutting.
