E3 alarm is a common fault in the use of chillers, which is due to insufficient liquid level in the water tank. So, what are the precautions for water flow alarm?
1. Is the water added sufficient to reach the normal position of the water level gauge
When adding water to the chiller, the liquid level should exceed the minimum level. It is recommended to fill it up as much as possible. The front of the Cool Ling era chiller has a liquid level display with MIN and MAX printed on it. It is recommended to add water to the MAX position as much as possible;
2. Air/pipeline leakage in the water circulation system
The reason for insufficient water flow in the chiller is due to the lack of water or air in the chiller system. The solution is to install an exhaust valve at a high position in the chiller pipeline to exhaust the chiller;
3. The external circulation part of the chiller is blocked
If the pipeline filter is blocked or selected too fine, and the permeability is limited, a suitable chiller filter should be selected and the filter screen should be cleaned regularly;
4. Sensor malfunction
Check if the liquid level sensor in the water tank of the chiller is abnormal. If it is abnormal, replace the liquid level sensor;
5. Screen abnormality
When the screen of the chiller is abnormal, a fault prompt will also appear, and the screen needs to be replaced at this time;
6. Water pump malfunction
A water pump malfunction can directly lead to abnormal flow rate. For a chiller, the important data of a water pump lies in its head and flow rate. Therefore, if there is an abnormal flow rate, it is also necessary to check whether the water pump has malfunctioned.
