1. The connecting bolts are prone to twisting and breaking. For a screw conveyor composed of several screws, the connecting bolts at the head section bear the torque of the fully loaded motor, while the torque borne by the subsequent screw sections and connecting bolts decreases. Therefore, the connecting bolts at the head section are easily twisted and broken.

Solution: Use high-strength bolts at the head section. If necessary, three bolt connections can also be used to ensure the normal operation of the conveyor and prevent the connecting bolts from being cut short.

2. There are many factors that affect the wear of suspension bearings in production, such as working environment, working conditions, properties of transported materials, structural form of suspension bearings, manufacturing quality, etc. Especially because the suspension bearings are buried in the material during operation, if the sealing and lubrication are not good, it is easy for material particles to enter the contact surface between the bearing and the journal, causing accelerated wear.

Solution: Select wear-resistant bearing shells and ensure manufacturing quality; Ensure good sealing and lubrication to extend the service life of suspension bearings.

3. Improper installation position of suspension bearings may cause screw jamming or bending

Solution: The suspension bearings should be installed concentric with the connecting shaft and ensure the concentricity of each suspension bearing to ensure the linearity of each section's spiral; There should be a certain gap between the end face and the spiral shaft end face, generally 10-20mm; The two halves of each suspension bearing should be firmly and tightly connected, and an appropriate radial clearance should be maintained on the connecting shaft to ensure flexible spiral rotation.

4. The accumulation of material at the feeding port is essentially a blockage phenomenon. For materials with strong arching characteristics, high humidity, and large block size, especially those that cannot be uniformly fed, such material accumulation faults are prone to occur.

Solution: Materials that do not meet the conveying requirements cannot be fed; The feeding should be uniform; It is not allowed to tap at the feeding port to prevent deformation of the material groove.
