Apr 2As long as position control is needed, a stepper motor may be used. Stepper motor is a special type of position control achieved through open-loop control, with high cost-effectiveness and a cost of only 1/3-1/4 of that of AC servo. Its application is relatively simple, without the need for complex debugging processes, and it has characteristics such as low speed and strong torque. Disadvantage: As the speed increases, the output torque will rapidly decrease, making it unsuitable for situations with high operating speeds.
