German diode laser manufacturer Lumics appoints two new CEOs

Recently, Lumics, a manufacturer of high-power diode laser components headquartered in Berlin, Germany, announced that Beate Sauter and Dennis George were appointed as the chief executives of the dual leadership structure.

 

According to the statement on its official website, Beate Sauter joined Lumics in 2013 and played an important role in the company's rapid development, making the company one of the top leaders in diode laser solutions for medical and life sciences applications. In addition to the new CEO, she will continue to serve as the vice president of sales and marketing.

 

Beate Sauter has more than 23 years of international management experience in the laser and photonics industry. Before joining Lumics, Beate held senior management positions in several leading optoelectronic companies, including the European sales director of American diode manufacturer Intense, the southern European key account manager of Edmund Optics, and the sales and marketing director of Toptica Photonics. She played a key role in the first few years of the company's establishment. She also served as a mentor in the EPIC Photonics Mentor Program.

Dennis George has been the financial manager of Berlin.IndustrialGroup for more than three years. In addition to the new CEO, he is also the portfolio manager of Lumics. Prior to joining Berlin.IndustrialGroup and Lumics, Dennis was a financial adviser to Ebner Stolz.
