E05 fault alarm and solution for laser chiller

The E05 fault code alarm of the chiller (cold water tank) is usually caused by abnormal water flow rate, and there are usually the following reasons:

1. Check if the circulating water in the laser water cooler is fully filled and if there is dust blocking the bottom filter screen. After cleaning, see if it can return to normal.

2. Is there any deviation in the suction pipe of the water pump that causes abnormal pumping, or is the water pump itself stuck or has a short circuit in the coil, as well as poor capacitance.

3. Check the pressure on the water pressure gauge directly in front of the laser water cooler: If the pressure is 0 or very low, only about 1 kilogram, it is highly likely that the air in the water system has not been completely discharged (this situation usually occurs when the user starts up for the first time). You can pull out the water outlet to allow some water to flow out naturally, or discharge air according to the small red dot on the filter. After installation, start up.

4. Observing the water flow rate at the return port of the chiller, if the water flow rate at the return port is high and the water pressure is normal at around 2.1 kilograms, and E05 still appears, it may be due to a problem with the flow switch itself. For emergency purposes, you can short circuit the toggle switch 2 or jumper 2 on the temperature control motherboard, turn the toggle switch to ON, or merge the two corners of jumper 2 to eliminate E05. At the same time, contact the manufacturer in a timely manner to replace the flow switch.

5. If it is found that the pointer of the water pressure gauge has reached around 3 kilograms (this is the maximum pressure of the standard machine water pump). Moreover, if the return water flow rate is very low, it is highly likely that there is a blockage in some part of the water system pipeline or there are too many impurities in the filter. A. To check the water system, you can first short circuit the water outlet and return port of the chiller (without passing through the laser). If E05 can be eliminated at this time, it may be due to an obstruction in the customer's laser pipeline; B. Replace the filter element of the water filter.
