Handheld laser welding machine, as an emerging welding tool, works by converting electrical energy into laser and melting the welding wire and base material through high temperature to achieve welding. The following are common problems and their solutions for this device:

laser

1. Excessive wear of the protective lens of the welding gun head: The protective lens plays a crucial role in the welding process, but sparks may fall into the gun head during vertical welding, causing damage. To avoid this problem, it is recommended to maintain a 45 ° angle between the gun head and the material during flat welding, and weld from front to back. At the same time, when replacing the protective lens, pay attention to the surrounding environment and try to protect the outside of the gun head with masking paper to prevent dust from entering.

2. Damage to focusing lens, reflector, and QBH lens: These are the main lenses inside the welding gun. Once damaged, the welding gun must be disassembled and replaced in a dust-free environment. The manifestations of lens damage include insufficient power, laser dispersion, and welding nozzle burning red. When these situations occur, welding should be stopped immediately and the lens should be inspected.

3. Wire feeder jamming: The jamming problem is usually related to poor rotation of the nozzle, wire feeding tube, or wire spool. Especially for aluminum welding, due to its lower hardness, it is more prone to lagging and poor wire feeding. Therefore, special attention should be paid to inspecting these parts when welding aluminum materials.
