The new laser is larger and requires a change in home settings

I got a new ortur 20 watt laser and it is alot larger than the 10 watt .
my laser hits the end of the frame before it hits the factory stop ( no limits switch but has bolts to make a hard stop )
i can gently move the laser to the home position but cannot get the home position to be Zero to make a new home position .
the new home position is -24.9 and -29.9 and i cannot make a home setting with the minus symbol.
Please help

      You should have received instructions on how to tell your controller the new workspace size. The expansion kit should not have affected your Home position because the switches were not moved. Or were they?

          : Well i put the laser in the front right corner and i want to zero the scale but no matter what i do it says position is -24 and i cannot set the home position to zeros

          : So your machine does not have any limit switches, correct? Typically in that situation you place the laser in the desired home position before turning it on and when it powers up it sets the current position as home. You will need to determine the new physical limits away from home and program them into your device settings so it doesn’t crash on the other end.
