Hello,
We have a Boss LS 1630 and we are using the Piburn rotary attachment to try and engrave dog bowls. I have been able to use the roller to engrave cups just fine but I have tried to use the chuck for the dog bowls which are much wider in diameter. Rotary mode is turned on, steps are set, and the proper diameter and circumference of the object are set. The issue I am having is the image is being cut off because the diameter of the bowl is much larger than the length of the Y axis of the bed. When I frame the image, it stops at a certain point and I know it has reached the limit because I see the Y value on the machine at its max point (400 mm). I tried creating a new machine with a bed much larger in the Y (900 mm) but the machine still stops at its known limit of 400 mm. I am looking for help with the proper way to engrave any item when its diameter is larger than Y length of the bed. Any help with this is appreciated! Thank you

Not suire if this will work, but on my Omtech, If I reset the machine with the rotary attached and hit esc a couple times after it attempts to home it gives a bed dimension of 10,000x10,000 because it didn’t home properly. Try running it from there.
