A simple method for setting alignment reference layers

Is there an easy way to set up an alignment guide layer that will appear when framing, but not be printed out?

For example, I have wooden plaques that vary by just a little on height and width. The design I have in lightburn needs to be centered on these plaques. While I have physical guides on my machine, I need to move them a hair or two manually to get them perfect.

I’d like to have some corner guides that make visualizing this easier. I’m aware I can turn the output/show on/off, but is there a way to modify that layer so that they show when framing, but are not engraved?

Hi, just use a tool layer T1 or T2.

      • You could make a grid array and either use T1/T2 for that or one of the other layers and turn off the output for this specific layer.
