03-17Are you set to OFFSET fill? It looks like it from the photo. Set to FILL mode and try again.

03-18Hi, I used to do hundreds of lamacoids for a customer that I had. He would send me a Excel spreadsheet that I would import into AutoCad, save as .dxf and then import it for engraving/cutting. The top layer of the lamacoid is very thin (.003"). You need to take very little off. At the time, I was using a CO2 60 watt machine and my settings were approximately 800mm/s and power was around 35%. I think you are going a little too slow. Try increasing the speed and power and see if your results are and better. Also, I used WD40 to clean the lamacoid. Worked amazing.

: Hey Payson, Thanks for the tip, we assumed that we were going too fast and that’s why it was missing bits. The max speed on K40+ is 300 mm/s so I changed it to that and put power to 22.5%. We were originally testing on the fill setting, but because we were going too slow it was burning passed the edge and giving us wobbly letters. Final settings were: 1 pass, 300 mm/s, 0.03 mm interval, 22.5% power on Fill
