The laser welding head is connected to the laser output end using a fiber coupler, and the optical path is deflected, converged, and shaped through internal optical components. Meanwhile, by establishing a connection between the motion actuator and the product coordinate system, the accuracy of the welding position is ensured. According to different laser welding processes, laser welding joints can be divided into various types, such as laser fusion welding joints, remote laser welding joints, laser brazing welding joints (and laser composite welding joints).

Brief description of welding head types
The types of laser welding joints are mainly determined based on the requirements of the laser welding process and the differences in required auxiliary functions.

1. Applicable scenarios for conventional fusion welding joints
Conventional fusion welding joints are suitable for the following scenarios:
Continuous fusion welds with regular shapes;
Segmented fusion welds with a continuous length greater than or equal to 5 times the diameter of the spot.

2. Applicable scenarios for welding joints with scanning mirrors
Welding joints with scanning mirrors are suitable for the following scenarios:
The situation where there are complex pattern requirements for the weld seam;
Multiple weld seams or segments need to be welded in a small area (less than or equal to 50mm * 50mm);
3D curved weld seam;
Remote flight welding;
Other application scenarios that require extremely high welding seam positioning and fast welding speed;
For welds with specific pattern requirements perpendicular to the length of the weld, additional high-frequency oscillating mirrors are required.

3. Applicable scenarios for brazing laser heads
Brazing laser heads are suitable for laser brazing processes and are usually equipped with dedicated wire feeding mechanisms with push and draw calibration, and may be equipped with protective gas nozzles.

4. Applicable scenarios of laser composite welding laser head
Laser composite welding laser head is suitable for the following scenarios:
Laser composite welding;
Laser multi-layer and multi pass welding;
Laser cladding.

Description of Welding Joint Interface Types
The interface type of the welding joint depends on the laser output core diameter, wavelength, and the appropriate focal length adjustment of the laser, as well as the interface form of different fiber couplers from different manufacturers. To ensure normal use, the fiber core diameter adapted to the welding head must be greater than or equal to the output core diameter of the laser to avoid the risk of laser overflow. Due to the existence of various types of fiber optic interfaces on the market, such as QBH (collimator), QCS, QD, Q+, etc., to simplify the adaptation process, it is recommended to choose the welding head and matching fiber coupler recommended by the laser manufacturer.
