The data released by Gaogong Intelligent Automobile Research Institute shows that from January to September this year, the number of standard laser radars installed in front of passenger cars in the Chinese market reached 57000, of which Hesai Technology is one of the main contributors to the delivery. In addition, the laser emission and reception of Hesai Technology FT120 is completely completed through the chip, without any moving parts inside. It has a high degree of product reliability, production efficiency and mass production consistency, and has absolute advantages in large-scale mass production at the vehicle gauge level. Moreover, thanks to the highly integrated architecture brought by the self-developed chip, the FT120 is incomparable to similar lidars in terms of size, appearance and cost.
Previously, the semi-solid laser radar AT128 launched by Hesai Technology has been fully recognized by the market. With the release of FT120, AT128 has obtained its own "Wang Fei" combination partner, which will jointly provide the vehicle with complete 3D environment perception. The combination scheme of AT and FT vehicle specification level lidar has become a powerful tool for Hesai Technology to win the global market.
Now, Hesai Technology AT128 has started mass production and delivery. The new laser radar FT120 of Hesai Technology has also won more than one million fixed points from several car manufacturers, and is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2023. This set of "combination boxing" is expected to enable Hesai Technology to break out of the tight encirclement and occupy the market highland with a dark horse attitude.
