The laser welding of a new energy car body can be completed in 43 seconds at the earliest, and the laser cutting of a 30 micron thick mobile phone glass cover plate can be completed in 2.5 seconds. The accuracy can reach one percent of the diameter of a hair.
Ma Xinqiang, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the board of directors of Huagong Science and Technology, pointed out that the greatest contribution of Huagong Science and Technology to China's laser industry lies in taking the lead in exploring the industrial application of lasers and promoting the localization of core components.
He explained with a set of comparative data: ten years ago, Huagong Science and Technology purchased a 10000 watt fiber laser from overseas at a purchase price of more than 8 million yuan (RMB, the same below), which must be approved by the relevant local departments; Now, a set of 10000 watt optical fiber laser cutting machines with all the core components made in China by Huagong Technology sells for less than 2 million yuan.
"The competition of enterprises is the competition of talents and industrial chain." Ma Xinqiang said that Huagong Technology took the lead in establishing the National Laser Processing Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance in 2012, covering more than 40 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain; Through the transportation of excellent management personnel and exclusive sales of start-up products, Huari Laser, Yunling Optoelectronics and other enterprises were cultivated, and more than 600 upstream and downstream enterprises in Wuhan were driven to cooperate and advance.
Today, China Optics Valley has gathered nearly 300 well-known laser enterprises, and the domestic market share of the laser industry has exceeded 50% for 11 consecutive years. An energy laser industry cluster, mainly consisting of lasers, industrial laser equipment and medical laser equipment, has been formed. The optoelectronic information industry is unique.
China Optics Valley's laser products also continue to go overseas. In the past five years, the overseas business of Huagong's laser equipment products has maintained a growth rate of more than 60%, achieving full coverage of the European market, and improving the marketing, production capacity, and supply chain layout in more than 20 countries and regions, including Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and East Asia. In the past 10 years, our laser products have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions, including Europe and the United States.
It is worth mentioning that in 2020, a fiber laser international standard formulated by Ruike Laser, Huagong Laser and other units was passed, which is the first time that China has set an international standard for laser products.
In March this year, Wuhan East Lake High tech Zone released the laser industry cluster plan of Hubei East Lake Science City. It will implement five key projects, namely, industrial space optimization, industrial scale doubling, innovation capacity leaping, core product tackling and service capacity strengthening, promote the realization of major breakthroughs in key laser core technologies and high-end products, and strive to build a trillion level laser industry cluster by 2035.
"In the future, the laser industry will further develop towards industrial special aircraft and extreme manufacturing." Ma Xinqiang revealed that as a leading enterprise in China's laser industry, Huagong Technology will deeply carry out frontier exploration on the basis of the construction of the company's Central Research Institute with nearly 200 million yuan invested; Focusing on the development of the third generation semiconductor, automobile and new energy industries, we will promote the R&D and application of high-end laser extreme manufacturing equipment, energy storage, photovoltaic, hydrogen battery laser processing equipment, and advanced laser manufacturing equipment.
