AD2 will be delivered in mass production in 2023, mainly for three groups: new forces of car building, traditional car manufacturers and driverless solution providers. At present, it has been designated for several models, with a total of 180000 vehicles, and has reached mass production cooperation with electronic manufacturing service provider Jabil. At the same time, Li Yuan also announced that Beixing has established a 512 ecological alliance, which is committed to enabling car enterprises to achieve curve overtaking in the era of intelligent driving.
AD2 has achieved a breakthrough in core performance through 512 line technology, and its longitudinal resolution has achieved 0.05 °, which means that AD2 can detect targets with similar height of flat tires at a distance of 120 meters, or accurately restore human contour or even gait at a distance of 200 meters; In addition, AD2 realizes global high-definition detection, that is, all angles and areas within the entire 120 ° horizontal field of view have high resolution, and the high resolution within the entire angle of view is coherent and smooth, without overlapping, interlacing, gaps and other phenomena, so that the laser radar does not need to look left and right, more convenient to take into account the detection of targets in a wider range, providing dual protection to reduce accidents.
