Before using the laser cutting machine, we import the completed drawings into the program, and then use the typesetting software to arrange the drawings on the plates, so that the laser cutting machine can process products in batches. Among them, although the time of typesetting design is very short, there is a lot of knowledge hidden in it. A little wrong typesetting will have a great impact on the analysis of the cutting effect of the whole board. OK, here are six points for you to pay attention to in typesetting.

 

1. Corner melting
When decelerating to cut the corner of thin steel plate, the laser will melt the corner due to economic overheating. The corner produces a small radius to maintain the high speed of laser cutting and avoid overheating and melting of steel plate when cutting the corner, so as to obtain good cutting quality, shorten cutting time and improve productivity.

 

2. Part spacing
Generally, when cutting thick plates and hot plates in this case, the space between parts should be large, because the heat generated by thick plate hot plates has a greater impact. When cutting sharp corners and small graphics, it is easy to burn edges, which affects the cutting quality.

 

3. Lead wire setting
In the process of cutting thick plates, in order to make the welds well connected and prevent burns at the beginning and end of cutting, transition lines, called conductors and tails, are often introduced at the beginning and end of cutting. The lead wire and tail wire are useless to the workpiece material itself, so they should be arranged outside the scope of a workpiece. At the same time, it should be noted that the lead wire should not be set between sharp corners and other places that are not easy to dissipate heat. The connection between the wire and the incision shall adopt arc transition as far as possible to make the machine move steadily and avoid burns caused by corner guards.

 

4. Common edge cutting
Two or more types of parts are combined into a product combination, and large quantities of regular graphics are shared as much as possible. The co edge cutting technology can greatly shorten the cutting time and save raw materials for enterprises.

 

5. Part collision
In order to maximize production efficiency, many laser cutting equipment operate continuously for 24 hours, and adopt unmanned automatic lifting device, which collides with finished cutting parts, causing damage to the flanging cutting head and production interruption, thus causing greater losses. When sorting, we should pay attention to:
① Select a suitable cutting path to bypass the cutting piece to reduce collision.
② Select an optimal cutting technology route to reduce cutting working time.
Automatically or manually connect multiple small parts together. After cutting, remove the parts and easily disconnect the small parts.

 

6. Disposal of surplus materials
After cutting the parts, we need to remove the skeleton residues on the laser cutting technology equipment management workbench as soon as possible to facilitate the subsequent cutting operations of the enterprise. For laser cutting equipment without automatic discharge device, the skeleton like remaining part can be cut into small pieces for quick removal. Thus, it can effectively avoid personal injury caused by the operator's moving heavy and sharper leftovers.
