Recently, Weigan Technology, a high-end solid-state lidar solution provider, announced that it had completed a round A financing of tens of millions of RMB. This round of financing was jointly invested by Ningbo Huize, Ningbo Intellectual Property Operation Fund, angel investors and old shareholder Wenzhou Jizhi.

It is understood that this round of financing will be used to continue to promote the R&D and manufacturing of high-end and solid-state lidars, and expand the business cooperation between upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.

Ningbo Weigan Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., founded in May 2018, is a laser radar scheme designer and supplier with the physical layer algorithm optical DSP (oDSP) as the core technology. The team comes from the world's leading optical communication enterprises Huawei, Fujitsu, etc., and has made outstanding achievements in the design of optical communication physical layer algorithm and photoelectric system architecture. Lidar products are mainly used in the fields of automobile auxiliary driving and automatic driving, smart city and smart transportation, industrial measurement and 3D modeling.

Unisense Technology has doubled the detection performance of the lidar on the low-cost 905nm photoelectric platform through the oDSP algorithm technology. The products include the 360 ° 3D lidar SF series for 400m long range detection, the first solid state rotating mirror lidar TREX for 300m long range detection using 905nm wavelength in the industry, etc.

In 2022, Weigan Technology will focus on expanding various application fields of laser radar, and reach strategic partnership with Situoli, a surveying and mapping equipment enterprise under the listed company Unite Sizhuang, and Yi Chengzhixing, a leading enterprise of automatic driving shuttle cars. Relevant products and equipment have been delivered in batches and applied to multiple scenarios such as energy, chemical industry and smart cities, involving electricity, steel, ports, docks, street parks, etc., covering different customers in high latitude cold regions in China and tropical countries in Southeast Asia. In the future, Weigan Technology will deeply promote the close cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the automobile, energy and other industrial chains.
