On January 7, during CES, Beixing and Jabil officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation around the production, manufacturing and mass production delivery of the new generation of 512-line vehicle-grade lidar AD2. According to the agreement, Beixing will work with Jabil to industrialize and deploy a dedicated laser radar production line to meet the standards of the automotive industry.

At the new product and strategy conference at the end of 2022, Beixing officially released a new generation of 512-line vehicle-level lidar AD2. AD2 has a detection field angle of 120 ° * 25.6 °, supports a 10Hz refresh frame rate, and a resolution of up to 0.05 ° * 0.05 °. It can clearly identify the contour and shape of small targets from 200m away, and has the ability of full field HD detection with a vertical resolution of 0.05 °. As a 512-line high-performance laser radar, AD2 adopts a number of Beixing self-research technologies such as 2D high-precision scanning, and finally achieves a comprehensive balance in terms of high performance, vehicle gauge reliability, cost, appearance and volume. At this stage, the AD2 has obtained 180000 fixed-point units and will be fully delivered in 2023.

The two sides will give full play to each other's advantages and jointly commit to the mass production and delivery of the new generation 512 line high-performance lidar AD2 of Beixing.
