The servo motor mainly consists of three components, namely, driver, motion motor and encoder. On the bus, PLC and other controllers output control commands to the driver. The control commands include the position, angle, torque, etc. of the motor movement. After receiving the control command from the PLC, the driver will send a pulse signal to let the motion motor run. When the motion motor works, it will also feedback a pulse. At this time, the encoder of the servo motor starts to work. It will compare the two pulses of the previous cycle to see if they have any deviation, and feed back the results to the servo driver. If there is a deviation, the driver will continuously correct it until the deviation disappears completely. Through such closed-loop control, the control accuracy of the servo system is naturally much higher than those of the open-loop control motors.
