Photography brand Leica has launched its first 4K movie and television. The Leica Cine 1 laser TV was announced a year later during the I FA 2022 period. This iconic photography brand is shifting some of its focus to projecting perfect images in our living room.

feature
The Leica Cine 1 laser TV embodies Leica's philosophy in its camera design. Leica continues to provide precision optical engineering tools with minimalist designs. The new Leica TV adopts 4K triple RGB laser technology and combines modern Teutonic design. The projector is designed with a perforated silver aluminum casing, which has astonishing similarities with Leica's cameras.

The precise surface treatment and perforation details that run through the exterior of the projector are also impressive. The perforated board is designed to support the built-in Dolby panoramic surround sound system for small tools and achieve seamless ventilation.

The maximum brightness of Cine 1 is 2500 lumens. Its connection options include Wi Fi 6 and Ethernet. In addition, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, and one USB 3.0 port. One of the HDMI 2.1 ports is compatible with eARC connections. The projector is compatible with Google TV and Apple Airplay 2.

The Leica Cine 1 projector is equipped with a Summicon lens, bringing Leica's identity home clearly. The projector has an automatic dust cover that can protect the Summicon lens when it cannot operate. Although it is an ultra short focus projector, the Leica Cine 1 has two fixed projection image size options, namely 100 inches and 120 inches. The 80 inch model is also available in some other markets outside the United States.

Pricing and availability
The price of a 100 inch Leica Cine 1 laser TV is $8995, while the price of a 120 inch TV is $9495. Leica also provides projectors with matching ambient light suppression (ALR) high contrast screens. It is expected that the subsequent availability will expand beyond the United States.
