: No. Then you would fire with maximum power again. If you set it in LightBurn only, 100% in LightBurn equals 23% of your actual laser power.

2024-11-20This really depends on how your machine is wired up, to be specific, does the pwm toggle the laser enable or does it drive the IN input of the lps? Many of these have a manual pot that changes it’s current limiting by applying a DC voltage to the IN terminal of the lps. This sets current limiting of the lps. If the pwm is wired to laser enable, then anytime the machine lases, it will lase limiting the current to that set manually by the pot. This also relates to the mA meter. No matter how a meter is driven, it always reads rms value of it’s input.
