From May 15 to 17, 2025, the 20th Wuhan Optoelectronics Expo will be held grandly at the China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan. With the theme "Light Connects Everything, Intelligence Leads the Future," this year's expo will focus on six major fields: laser technology and applications, optics and precision optics, information communication and semiconductors, automotive optoelectronics, and innovative applications of optoelectronic technology. It will showcase the latest global advancements in optoelectronic technologies, products, and applications, promoting the deep integration of optoelectronic technology with industries such as new energy vehicles, advanced manufacturing, 3C electronics, aerospace/shipbuilding, optical/precision processing, information communication, semiconductors, biomedical, and scientific research innovation.

As one of China's highest-level and most influential professional optoelectronic information exhibitions, the Wuhan Optoelectronics Expo has attracted over 6,000 renowned enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions since its inception in 2002. Nearly 600,000 professional visitors have witnessed the remarkable transformation of China's optoelectronic information industry from "following" to "running alongside" and ultimately "leading" the global stage.

After more than three decades of relentless pursuit of innovation, China Optics Valley has become a global hub for optoelectronic information, establishing the world's leading optical fiber and cable production base, as well as nationally leading production bases for optoelectronic devices, small and medium-sized display panels, and laser technology. In 2024, Optics Valley achieved a GDP exceeding 320 billion yuan, with the optoelectronic information industry reaching a scale of 600 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%, demonstrating robust growth momentum.

Hubei Province has outlined clear goals in the "Action Plan to Accelerate the Construction of a 'World Optics Valley,'" aiming to build it into a global landmark for the optoelectronic information industry and a world-renowned sci-tech innovation hub. The 20th Wuhan Optoelectronics Expo in 2025 will further enhance openness and innovation, accelerating the convergence of global optoelectronic resources in Optics Valley. It will continue to shine as a golden招牌 for the optoelectronic information industry, supporting Wuhan's efforts to build a world-class optoelectronic information industry cluster.

The expo will also host over 20 diversified industry conferences, providing a high-end platform for global optoelectronic industry exchanges and collaborations, and driving technological innovation and international development in the industry.
