Overscanning and zero position
Also, we’ve seen that for engraving at high speeds we
are having a big overscaning each side of the job. We are working with servo
motors, but even putting the acceleration to the maximum value (100000mm/s2), for 2000mm/s we have an
overscanning of 50mm each
side, and 60mm if we
have the reverse compensation settings adjusted. This means we loose 120mm of the X travel. Is there any
possibility to reduce this? If we want to have a table with rulers with a 0 point,
we need to set this point at a position where we can engrave from there
whatever it is the speed we are working, this means we will loose 120mm of the X axis travel.
