Recently, Panasonic has launched the latest laser marking technology product - the LP-ZV series, which can provide high-precision and high-efficiency laser marking.

Panasonic claims that the LP-ZV series has set a new standard that can bring excellent speed and accuracy in operation, suitable for various applications such as marking text, graphics, barcodes, and 2D code.

The company stated that the new version of the equipment meets the complex marking requirements of metal and resin materials, providing a solution that combines high-speed performance with large marking fields and 3D marking options.

Make fine marking possible
Panasonic stated that the laser uses a short pulse of 1 nanosecond (ns) to achieve this goal, minimizing thermal effects and enabling clear marking of small characters up to 0.15 millimeters. Shallow engraving produces easily visible white markings and code parts with sharp edges.

Due to the 50W high-power output of the system, users can benefit from fast and deep marking, allowing for high-speed deep engraving and black marking on metal workpieces. This ability ensures fast and accurate marking on precision metal components such as bearings and tools.

The LP-ZV series is renowned for its 3D marking options and generous marking field. Equipped with 3D function, height matches concave or convex surfaces within a range of 50mm (± 25mm).

The system provides a large marking area of up to 330mm x 330mm, expanding its usability in various products. Integrated Z-axis control ensures consistent marking quality for complex shapes at any position within the marking field and on workpieces of different heights.

Panasonic stated that maintaining stability in the labeling field, coupled with a wide range, can significantly reduce setup, installation, and design costs while providing consistent results.

Developing towards high connectivity and low-carbon
Panasonic also confirmed that the LP-ZV laser marking machine will use updated laser marking NAVI intelligent software to enhance user experience, provide a user-friendly interface, and use intelligent software and built-in camera data to preview markings on materials.

By utilizing Ethernet/IP or Profinet, the LP-ZV series seamlessly integrates into the production line, providing beneficial connectivity. With its network unit, LP-ZV is seamlessly integrated into customers' production lines through Ethernet/IP or PROFINET.

Consistent with Panasonic's commitment to sustainable development, LP-ZV also focuses on energy efficiency, which can reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 50% compared to other systems.
