Photon Automation, Inc., headquartered in Greenfield, Indiana, has been committed to providing automated laser technology solutions since 2000. The company is pleased to announce the opening of its state-of-the-art laser application laboratory in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This 7400 square foot facility will be led by renowned laser physicist Dr. Najah George, who has over 35 years of extensive experience in the field of laser technology.

The new laboratory will become a center for cutting-edge research, development, and testing of laser applications. This facility is equipped with advanced laser systems and first-class technology, and will provide a wide range of services to meet the needs of various industries.

The activities of the Farmington Hills Laboratory include:
Laser application testing: The expert team of Photon Automation, led by Dr. Najah George, will conduct comprehensive laser application testing to evaluate the feasibility and performance of customer applications.

Prototype manufacturing and testing: This facility will provide dedicated space for the creation and testing of customer prototypes, enabling customers to validate their designs and accelerate the product development process.

Dr. George's impressive background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, a Master of Science degree in Laser Technology, and a PhD degree. Solid state physics. He began his laser journey at the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC)/Laser Development Department in 1987 and has since accumulated rich experience in various fields such as education, research, and industry. Dr. George has extensive global work experience at a laser optics company and has played an important role in developing battery technology for electric vehicles and grid storage projects.
