Using "partition for over range"

I am using a Ruida 6445G controller. In the parameters box under the output section is "partition for over range". I am told that this is used for setting up a cut that exceeds to size of the cutting bed, which I have frequent need for. However, It is not even mentioned in the manual and despite numerous efforts to get information from Ruida through emails, Facebook, opening a technical help ticket, and searching the internet, I have found nothing that explains the setup or procedure, or even acknowledges it's existence. My machine manufacturer offers only the obvious information (frame height). Very frustrating.

  : Hello, the super-large format block cutting function is only for use in the case of processing graphics files that are longer than the length of the format, and it requires equipment with feeding function. If the graphics file is not longer than the format of the equipment, it is not necessary to check the use of this function in the software. When using this function, you only need to check the format height option and enter the value of the equipment format length.
