Hello. I got an Algolaser machine, the Alpha 22w, it worked wonders until a week ago, when suddenly this alarm started appearing out of nowhere, which is strange, since I don’t remember changing anything, not in lightburn nor in the actual machine.

I’ve tried a few of the basic solutions, but they don’t really seem to work. Any of you guys had the same issue before?

    • You did not say which alarm, but your description suggests it is Alarm 1.

      Did you maybe change coordinate mode in the Laser window?
      Is the machine workspace still correct in Lightburn?
      Is this a new program, or do all of them now do this?
      If not Alarm 1, which one was it?

        • : Oh, I forgot to mention it. It’s alarm 2. Everything you mention is correct, and as normal as it has been even since I started using it. I’m not sure why it happens. It’s definitely something related to some kind of setting, since it engraves normally in my other lightburn files. It seems to happen whenever I combine both engraving and cutting layers in a single instruction, and as I’ve been testing today, things work like usual when I do both separately.

          @Cyril

          : It could be image overscan pushing you over the line. A Preview switch setting can show if this is what is happening.
