Recently, Pentium Laser and Shenzhen Chuangxin Laser launched the world's first 85000W laser cutting machine, once again breaking the record for the highest power in the cutting field. 

Zhang Qingmao, Director of the Laser Processing Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, Xu Xia, rotating CEO of Pentium Group, Cai Liang, Director of the Final Inspection Department of Pentium Laser Manufacturing Center, and Zeng Jianfeng, Market and Brand Manager of Chuangxin Laser, met with more than ten media reporters and had in-depth exchanges.

In March of this year, Pentium Laser established a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Chuangxin Laser and jointly released a 60000 watt laser cutting machine to completely solve the problem of laser cutting substitution in the field of thick plate processing. This time, both sides have once again joined hands to launch the world's first 85000W laser cutting machine, indicating that both sides are seeking breakthroughs in the field of high-power laser application research. This project is also synchronously applying for a research project on high-power laser applications in Zhejiang Province, concentrating social research forces to jointly tackle difficulties and laying a solid foundation for the upgrading of manufacturing in China.

Cai Liang gave a detailed introduction to the 85000W laser cutting equipment, compared and analyzed its performance, and conducted a light cutting demonstration on site. In terms of cutting ability, the cutting range of 85000W has exceeded that of plasma cutting, and it has the ability to completely replace traditional thick plate processing processes such as plasma and even flame. In some thicknesses, its processing speed is increased by more than 40% compared to 60000W, with stronger cutting ability, thicker processing thickness, faster cutting speed, and better cutting quality.

At present, in the field of laser cutting machines, the prospects for processing medium and thick plates and heavy pipe materials are still very broad. Pentium Laser will continue to bring complete innovation to high-end manufacturing fields such as engineering machinery, steel structures, and shipbuilding for transformation, upgrading, production and efficiency improvement. At present, the competition in the laser cutting industry is fierce, especially for cutting equipment below 30000W, where product profits have been compressed to a very low level. In this situation, the company still decided to invest in research and development efforts to make breakthroughs, and six months after the release of 60000 W cutting equipment, the 85000 W product has entered the market plan, showcasing the speed of manufacturing in China to the fullest.

Zeng Jianfeng stated at the meeting that "Chuangxin Laser and Pentium Laser regard product quality as lifelines. The reason why both sides can maintain long-term leadership in the 10000 watt ultra high power market is to treat every new product with a technology oriented and scientific and rigorous attitude.

The birth of 85000W can cover the cutting needs that need to be applied in all industries at present, and will replace the traditional product cutting methods in heavy industries such as shipbuilding. The production efficiency of enterprises will be greatly improved, while also meeting environmental requirements. Maintenance and management costs will be significantly reduced, which will help improve profit margins.
