1. Metallurgical Industry
According to preliminary estimates, the national steel industry consumes only 10billion yuan of important parts and components on various steel rolling production lines every year. The traditional method is mainly to replace these equipment parts, and even because the parts can not be used and scrapped or the whole machine can be replaced, the damaged, invalid and scrapped parts or the whole machine are basically treated as waste products, resulting in a waste of resources. Laser cladding repair equipment can produce high-performance alloy surface on the metal substrate of parts, which can significantly improve its surface wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, oxidation resistance and electrical properties. It can not only prolong the service life of new parts, but also cladding repair worn parts to restore their original size, so as to reduce the cycle of replacing parts.

2. Mining machinery industry
Characteristics of mining machinery and equipment: huge volume, high price, difficult loading and unloading, and heavy maintenance workload. Therefore, when the parts stop running due to wear and damage, it will cause huge economic losses. Laser cladding can remanufacture the surface of new and old parts, such as hydraulic cylinders and columns, so as to effectively improve the wear and corrosion resistance of parts and prolong the service life of parts.

Commonly used:
(1) Shearer: main frame, rocker arm, gear, gear shaft, various bushings, articulated frame, oil cylinder, oil cylinder seat, guide slipper, sprocket, pin rail wheel, drive wheel, pick, etc.
(2) Roadheader: oil cylinder, support, shaft, various bushings, pick, etc.
(3) Scraper conveyor: middle chute, transition groove, gear box, gear, gear shaft, spiral bevel gear, shaft parts, etc.
(4) Hydraulic support: hinge holes and various bushings of oil cylinders, bases and supports.

3. Petrochemical Industry
In the petrochemical industry, due to the long-term work of equipment in a harsh environment, it is easy to cause corrosion and wear of products. Regular maintenance of equipment parts is particularly important. Laser cladding can repair the failed parts, restore the original size, and efficiently restore the use of equipment.

The modern petrochemical industry basically adopts the continuous mass production mode. In the production process, the machine works in a harsh environment for a long time, resulting in damage, corrosion and wear of components in the equipment. The components that often cause problems include valves, pumps, impellers, journals, wheels, discs, bushings, bearing shells of large rotors, etc. these components are very expensive, and there are many types of components involved, Most of the shapes are complex and difficult to repair, but these problems are not problems because of the emergence of laser cladding technology.

4. Transportation industry
The transportation industry includes land, water, air transportation, etc. transportation equipment is characterized by high frequency of use and complex and changeable environment, resulting in the need for regular maintenance of equipment. Laser cladding can repair all kinds of parts and restore their original size, so as to effectively improve the service life of parts and components.

(1) Due to the harsh marine environment, high humidity and salinity, marine ship equipment is prone to wear and corrosion. Offshore engineering equipment and ship components are complex in technology, high in value, and waste a lot of failure and scrap. Domestic shipyards have used laser cladding technology to repair the corrosion of ship impellers, the wear of engine cylinder liners and the conical surfaces of diesel engine inlet and exhaust valve discs with high precision, which has achieved good cladding effect, restored the function and improved the wear and corrosion resistance.

(2) In the application of automobile industry, laser technology was first used, mainly for cutting and heat treatment. With the development of cladding technology, it gradually developed to flexible additive manufacturing technology. For example, the sealing conical surface of the exhaust valve of the engine is coated with stellite alloy, which is the first automotive part to adopt this technology. The annular surface of the exhaust valve seat of Fiat Automobile Engine in Italy and the exhaust valve seat of automobile in the United States are made of laser cladding heat-resistant alloy. At present, Beijing guochuang lightweight Research Institute of mechanical technology has cooperated with Guangxi Yuchai in the cladding of wear-resistant and high temperature resistant alloy on the annular surface of engine valve seat, and has also achieved phased results.

(3) In the aerospace field, another application of Laser High-Speed cladding technology in the aerospace field is "mobile parts repair hospital". The core is to use laser high-speed cladding technology to repair or manufacture key parts on the battlefield. It can even use satellite communication equipment to transmit data information about manufacturing parts. In the absence of data information, reverse engineering can also be used to obtain the external contour information of the parts to be built, and repair or manufacturing can be realized after necessary processing. The most distinctive advantage of Laser High-Speed cladding technology is that by improving the powder feeding technology, the real-time continuous change of material composition in parts can be realized, and high-performance parts with gradient component materials can be manufactured.

For wear-resistant spare parts of titanium alloy equipment for aviation, the wear of spare parts after laser cladding is only 4.2% of the original parts, and there is no wear until the steel wire rope of the counter grinding is broken.

5. Manufacturing and remanufacturing of power equipment and its parts
Power equipment is distributed in large quantities and operates continuously, and its parts and components have a high probability of damage. Steam turbine is the core equipment of thermal power generation. Due to the special working conditions of high temperature and high heat, it is necessary to regularly repair the damaged unit parts every year, such as the main shaft diameter, moving blades, etc. Gas turbines are often damaged because they work at high temperatures up to 1300 ℃. Using laser remanufacturing technology to repair all its defects and restore its performance, the cost is only 1/10 of the price of the new unit.
