2023 International Laser Industry Conference opened in Han more than 400 government, industry, university and research representatives attended

On May 15, 2023 International Laser Industry Conference, an important part of the Optical Fair, opened in Optical Valley Science and Technology Exhibition Center. More than 400 representatives of government, industry, universities and research institutes attended the conference and shared their wisdom on the new development trend of laser industry.

In his speech, Fan Dianyuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, fondly recalled his experience of joining the advisory group of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and participating in the establishment of China Optics Valley more than 20 years ago. Time flies, at present, Wuhan has gathered more than 700 laser enterprises, with a number of national innovation centers, become the laser industry development highland. Fan Dianyuan hopes that the government, industry, universities and research institutes can work together to promote the high-quality sustainable development of laser industry and bring more surprises and values to the development of the country and society.

Winners of the 2022 Halo Awards were presented at the conference. This award is awarded by the organizing committee of the Optical Fair, aiming to recognize the truly valuable photoelectric products, or the core of the technology, or the subversion of the concept, or the breakthrough of the process, in order to establish the concept of photoelectric enterprise innovation first.

Among them, Trumpf (China) Co., Ltd. and other six enterprises won the award of Excellent laser light source products, Changfei Guangfang (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd. and other six enterprises won the award of Excellent laser device products, Fujian Haichuang Optoelectronics and Fujian Forte Optoelectronics won the award of Best popularity of laser light source and laser device products, and 12 enterprises including Huari Precision were nominated awards respectively.

According to reports, Optical Valley is accelerating the implementation of the 135 strategy, is committed to building a laser industry cluster with global influence, by 2025 the output value of laser enterprises to reach 100 billion yuan, 2035 to reach 300 billion yuan, promote the commercial integration of the innovation chain industry chain and value chain, build the world's most complete types of industrial laser, the largest industrial scale laser base. Forming an industrial belt that radiates to drive the development of laser industrial cluster in Wuhan city circle.
