Was working fine yesterday then today says laser disconnected

I am hoping I can get help just migrated to Lightburn I have an omtech 30 watt fiber. got it set up and it was working just fine yesterday but today Lightburn is saying the laser is disconnected. I am new to the software I am hoping someone might have an answer. the computer says its connected i can see it in the device manager.

      Loose cable?
Had this happen before and a quick check for physical wiring/USB cable was the culprit.
Then I had to shutdown the PC and reboot to get LightBurn to see the device but it’s working fine now.
I should add that I incorporated a strain relief to the cable that plugs into the laser cabinet. It’s simply a magnet with a hook stuck slightly above the USB port and a wire tie to hold the end of the cable more securely in place.
