Germany-based high performance laser manufacturer HuBNER Photonics has announced the launch of the higher power Cobolt JiveTM 561 nm laser model.

With a continuous wave output power of up to 1W, the Cobolt JiveTM 561 nm laser is ideal for demanding applications in fluorescence microscopy, especially super-resolution microscopy (such as DNA-PAINT), as well as interferometry-based techniques (such as particle flow analysis).

It is a continuous wave single frequency diode-pumped laser (DPL) operating at 561.2 nm with a perfect quality TEM00 beam (M2 < 1.1). The proprietary laser cavity design ensures ultra-low noise typically < 0.1% rms (over 20 Hz-20 MHz and over 10-40°C) and excellent power stability < 2% (±2°C, 8 hours).

All Cobolt lasers are powered by proprietary HTCure. Manufactured by technology, the compact sealed package provides very high resistance to a variety of environmental conditions while offering excellent reliability. These lasers are used for advanced imaging, detection and analysis. Using HTCure? Lasers manufactured by the technology have been shown to withstand multiple 60G mechanical shocks without showing signs of performance degradation. After installing thousands of devices in the field, HTCure? Technology has proven to be one of the most reliable ways to manufacture industrial-grade lasers.

HuBNER Photonic offers a full line of high-performance lasers and terahertz systems, including Cobolt DPSS lasers, semiconductor lasers, nanosecond Q-switched lasers, tunable C-WAVE lasers, C-FLEX laser synthesizers, VALO femtosecond fiber lasers, and terahertz imagers and spectrometers. The company has become a leading supplier to major instrument manufacturers, leading research groups and public institutions working in the fields of spectroscopy, bioinstrumentation, holography, metrology, particle analysis, quantum technology and public safety.
