On August 19, with the approval of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the International Standard IEC 61788-22-3:2022 ED1 Superconductivity - Part 22-3: superconducting strip photon detector dark count rate, which was developed under the leadership of you Lixing, researcher of superconducting electronics laboratory, Shanghai Institute of Microsystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was officially released. This is the world's first international standard for single photon detectors, and also the first international standard led by China in the field of superconducting electronics.

The team has extensive influence at home and abroad in the research of superconducting stripe photon detectors, especially in the research of detection efficiency and dark counting, and has made many original achievements. It is reported that IEC 61788-22-3, as the international standard of the first superconducting stripe photon detector (SSPD), has no relevant experience in the past. The team of youlixing has carried out a lot of technical standard document writing, circular comparison test and communication and coordination around the international standard, overcome many difficulties, and completed all the work of standard formulation.
