Spectra Precision introduces new interconnected lasers

Spectra Precision today introduced the Spectra Precision® GL1425C-class laser, a new dual-stage laser that joins a full line of specialty laser products.

The GL1425C two-stage laser is a rugged, cost-effective and accurate laser that performs three tasks: leveling, grading and vertical alignment. Even in harsh work site conditions, the GL1425C consistently delivers reliable, accurate performance, enabling you to work faster and smarter.

"The GL1425C has built-in Bluetooth ®, so it can be used with Spectra Precision laser remote applications," says Roland Grimm, Spectra Precision product Manager. "This eliminates the cost of a remote control and allows the laser to be controlled with a smartphone."

The laser has an operating diameter of 800 meters and an accuracy of 1.5 mm @ 30 meters. The rugged GL1425C laser can withstand concrete drops of up to 1 meter and tripod toppling of up to 1.5 meters. This strength, combined with comprehensive weather and dust protection, reduces downtime and maintenance costs throughout the product life cycle.

The GL1425C has a receiver option. The advanced HL760 digital readout receiver provides automatic slope matching, allowing the measurement of unknown slope values between two points on unknown ground and eliminating time-consuming slope calculations. PlaneLok automatically locks existing elevations or vertical alignment points, eliminating all possibilities of drift or error due to improper calibration or weather. The CR700 receiver is also an option when on-board display height is required.

The new Spectra Precision GL1425C-class laser is now available through the Spectra Precision dealer network worldwide.
