Activity stage company CarpeDiem Ev è nement has been building the stage for the new virtual recording studio Studio 321 with the help of digital projection M-Vision laser projectors in the French Alps.

The studio has a main virtual production studio space for recording and an adjacent 40 square meter production office. The main virtual production area is a 24m x 4m white ceiling wall with a 90 degree circular floor angle and white floor covering, which can be used for recording small and large productions, from photo shoots, company demonstrations to movie and video works. Studio 321 transformed the L-shaped canopy into a large canvas video projection screen.

The goal of Studio 321 is versatility, which is why the company chose Digital Projection video projection technology over LED. Among other things, we also hold photography events, which is why we need a uniform white surface everywhere to minimize shadows. If the background is an LED screen, this cannot be achieved, "said Andy é as Vion Endresen, Project Manager and Director of Studio 321 at CarpeDiem.

The studio requires a total of four video projectors, and CarpeDiem Ev è nement relies on two 1-Chip DLP digital projection M-Vision Laser 21000 projectors. Its 21000 lumen brightness and WUXGA resolution ensure an immersive and captivating experience for both live and recorded events. These projectors have added ColorBoost+Red laser technology.

Four M-Vision laser projectors use HDBaseT network connections to fuse content on the edges of a 24m long screen installed on the ceiling. The company has chosen the Vioso 6 automatic recalibration technology, allowing the studio to be operational within an hour. The background is the Vioso 6 media server in a customized rack mounted PC, equipped with a Datapath 2xHDMI 4K 4:4:4:4 acquisition card. The TouchDesigner platform manages signal sources and provides access to touch based graphic remote controls used in the studio, using Vioso calibration technology to output signals to M-Vision laser projectors. Twelve Martin MAC Aura fixed lighting fixtures, four Yamaha VXC8 ceiling mounted speakers, one Yamaha MTX3 audio matrix, and an eight channel Yamaha XMV amplifier have been set up.
