I have seen others add 2 solenoids to CN1 so they have low pressure and high pressure air assist. They use pin 6, +24 for the + connection on the solenoids and then pin 5, wind for the - side of one solenoid followed by pin 4, status for the - connection on the other solenoid. Why is pin 1, - not used and are these connections correct?

It appears that all output are protected with optocouplers so perhaps only a flyback diode is needed on the added solenoid?

Thank you

These pin connections are correct. All output ports are OC gate circuit outputs. When connecting relay coils, a signal pin needs to be used to connect one end of the relay coil, while the other end of the relay coil needs to be connected to 24V. On CN1, PIN4 (Status) is the working status signal, which is conductive during processing and closed after processing; PIN5 (Wind) is a signal indicating whether the layer is blowing air. You can select whether the signal is conductive in the processing layer. The wiring is as follows:

    • Correct.
It's depend on your working situation.
PIN 4 and PIN 5 can drive to low-level output when the system is working.
