1. Gas source
The air source for the pneumatic system is pure compressed air. So, the commonly used air source components include air compressors, filters, dryers, pressure reducing valves, pressure gauges, oil mist eliminators, and other components. Air compressors mainly produce compressed air (working medium); Filters are mainly used to filter impurities in compressed air, mainly water, so there are generally two types of filters: manual drainage and automatic drainage; The pressure reducing valve is mainly used to regulate the pressure of the pneumatic circuit, ensuring constant pressure and maintaining the stability of the pneumatic system; A pressure gauge is an indicator of air pressure, which usually has two units: Pascal (Pa) and 100 kPa (Bar). Pressure gauges facing Europe and America also have pounds per square inch (Psi); The main function of an oil mist atomizer is to atomize the lubricating oil of pneumatic components.
2. Execution element - cylinder:
The cylinder is one of the main pneumatic driving components, and it has various types. According to the mode of action, it can be divided into single acting cylinders and double acting cylinders. A single acting cylinder refers to a cylinder where the movement of the piston rod in one direction is driven by compressed air, while the movement in the opposite direction is reset by a spring. A double acting cylinder refers to a cylinder where the movement of the piston rod in both directions is driven by compressed air. Cylinders can be divided into three categories based on their motion modes: linear motion cylinders, rotary cylinders, and air claws. The linear motion cylinder drives the actuator to perform linear reciprocating motion; The rotary cylinder drives the actuator to perform rotary reciprocating motion; The pneumatic gripper drives the actuator to perform opening and closing movements, mainly used for gripping and clamping workpieces or products.
3. Flow control element - throttle valve:
The main function of a throttle valve is to regulate the size of the airflow and control the speed of the pneumatic drive components. Usually divided into two types: intake throttle valve and outlet throttle valve. The intake throttle valve directly regulates the airflow size of the supply pipe, while the outlet throttle valve controls the speed of the pneumatic driving element by adjusting the airflow size of the exhaust pipe, thus having a more stable characteristic than the intake throttle control.
4. Directional control element - electromagnetic directional valve:
The reciprocating motion of the cylinder, as well as the suction and placement actions of the vacuum suction cup, are all controlled by an electromagnetic directional valve. The action of the electromagnetic directional valve is directly driven by the control system's output electrical signal, so the electromagnetic directional valve is actually a control component of the pneumatic system. The commonly used electromagnetic directional valves include: two position four way solenoid valve, three position four way solenoid valve, two position five way solenoid valve, and three position five way solenoid valve. Here, please distinguish between the concepts of "position" and "connection": position refers to the working position of the valve core, and two positions refer to two working positions; Passage refers to the airflow path formed inside the valve body through the movement of the valve core.
5. Magnetic switch:
A magnetic switch is a sensor that detects the position of the cylinder piston. If the position of the cylinder piston is detected by a magnetic switch, it is required to use a magnetic cylinder piston, otherwise it is invalid.
6. Quick change connector:
Direct plug-in tracheal connector.
7. Tracheal:
Usually, the size of the trachea is distinguished by its outer diameter. Our commonly used tracheal specifications include: Φ 4, Φ 6, Φ 8, Φ 10, Φ 12.
