As an indispensable supporting equipment for most lasers, laser chillers are responsible for cooling and cooling the laser. Matching a suitable laser chiller can provide good cooling effect for the laser and ensure its efficient operation. When the laser chiller works for a long time, the cooling effect decreases and the water temperature is not cold enough. What are the reasons for the insufficient water temperature of the laser chiller?
The main reasons why the water temperature of the laser chiller is not cold enough are as follows:

Hydrocooling

1. The temperature controller of the laser chiller is malfunctioning and unable to achieve temperature control;
2. Due to changes in the usage environment, the selected laser chiller has insufficient cooling capacity to provide sufficient cooling for the equipment;

3. If this problem only occurs after a long time with the laser chiller, it may be:
a. The blockage of the dust screen affects the air volume of the air inlet. After long-term use, the dust screen is blocked, affecting the heat dissipation of the chassis. In the long run, it will directly affect the cooling effect of the chiller, resulting in insufficient water temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly check and clean it during long-term use. Generally, we recommend cleaning it every 40 days;

b. Laser chiller refrigerant leakage, it is recommended to identify the leakage point, repair welding and add refrigerant;

c. There are impurities in the water quality, which can easily cause blockage in the plate exchange. Excessive impurities in tap water adhere to the inner wall of the water pipe, which can easily lead to insufficient water supply and affect the cooling effect, resulting in insufficient water temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to use pure water as the circulating medium for laser chillers and regularly replace the circulating water of the chiller;

d. It is possible that the ambient temperature used by the laser chiller is harsh, too high or too low, which results in the laser chiller not meeting the requirements. In this case, a larger laser chiller can only be selected to meet the requirements.
