Chain transmission usually includes the following types. The first type is a very ordinary roller chain, and the sprocket mainly has two parameters: tooth number and pitch circle. When designing, only the strength of the chain needs to be considered, and then the pitch of the shaft and chain need to be selected based on the transmission power. The pitch on the chain and the rollers, pin shafts, and chain pieces are all proportional. Roller chains are generally divided into A-type chains and B-row chains. Although the pitch is the same, the diameter of the rollers is different.
The second type of chain is a toothed chain, which is composed of multiple chain pieces combined without rollers. Many chain pieces are threaded on the pin shaft, so its strength is very strong. It is the highest load in all chains, and the sprocket is not much different from this person. Compared to this person, every time one tooth is working, this sprocket can have half of its teeth working at the same time.
This type of chain, also known as a silent chain, is the same thing. The downside is that it needs to be customized. There are not many specifications and brands on the market, and it is relatively heavy. However, when used in high-speed rotating conditions, it is very effective. If we encounter large loads and operate at high speeds, it will not jump teeth.
The third type is the suspension chain, which I have only seen in slaughterhouses and paint factories. The slaughterhouses are prone to contamination during the circulation process of these live bodies after slaughter. By running the suspension chain according to the predetermined track, it can avoid the spread of this pollution. This chain mainly bears two types of loads in both directions of operation and gravity direction. Therefore, it has two sets of guide wheels, one horizontal and the other vertical. When used in paint factories, it is mainly because our paint needs to be evenly baked and the circulation method requires hot air up, down, left, and right during operation. Therefore, using this suspension chain transmission can withstand high temperatures and meet this requirement.
The fourth type is the double speed chain, which we can consider as a roller chain, but its rollers are much larger. When the chain is carried forward by the sprocket, because the rollers are relatively large, the rollers will rub against the support plate below, causing the stick to generate an autobiography. At this time, if we place the product or fixture on the rollers, in addition to running forward with a transmission speed of the chain transmission, it also receives a transmission speed equivalent to the drum line. Therefore, the double speed chain is well-known.
