With the continuous development of science and technology, laser technology has steadily developed in various industries, but laser welding machines have appeared in our lives, such as stainless steel, aluminum (home, cabinets, kitchens and bathrooms, stairs and elevators, shelves, ovens, doors, windows, guardrails, distribution boxes), etc. However, during the use of laser welding equipment, some malfunctions may occur to a greater or lesser extent. Of course, any machine can potentially malfunction. In order to make the laser welding machine work better, reduce the number of failures, and improve work efficiency, we must understand the working principle of the laser welding machine.
Fault 1: The weld seam of the laser welding machine is very black during welding.
1. The nitrogen is not turned on, just turn on the nitrogen to solve the problem.
2. The direction of airflow protection is incorrect, and it should be made opposite to the direction of workpiece movement.
Fault 2: Cracks appear during laser welding machine welding
1. The cooling speed of the workpiece is too fast. The temperature of the cooling water on the fixture should be adjusted to increase the water temperature.
2. If the clearance between workpieces is too large or there are burrs, the machining accuracy of the workpiece should be improved.
3. The workpiece was not cleaned thoroughly, and in this case, the workpiece needs to be cleaned again.
4. Excessive protective air flow can reduce the flow of protective air.
Fault 3: Insufficient welding depth of the laser welding machine
1. The laser energy is insufficient, which can increase the pulse width and current.
2. The defocus amount of the focusing mirror is incorrect, and the defocus amount should be adjusted to a position close to the focus.
Fault 4: The flame of the laser welding machine weakens during welding
1. The shutter is not fully opened. Check and add lubricating oil to the shutter connector to make it mechanically stable.
2. Shift the main optical path laser, adjust the main optical path full reflection and semi reflection film, check with paper, and adjust the circular spot.
3. Cooling water pollution or long-term non replacement of cooling water can be solved by replacing the cooling water, cleaning the ultraviolet tube and xenon lamp.
4. Adjust the 45 degree reflective film to output the laser from the center of the nozzle, rather than from the center of the copper nozzle under the focusing head.
5. If the focusing lens or the resonant cavity membrane of the laser is damaged or contaminated, it should be replaced or cleaned in a timely manner.
