1. Before installation, carefully check whether the chiller equipment is damaged, and then choose a suitable place.
2. The site for installing the chiller unit is on the floor, installation mat or foundation, and can withstand the overall weight of the equipment.
3. The chiller unit should be placed in a room temperature of 4-40 degrees Celsius, with sufficient space left around the unit for future maintenance and management.
4. One end of the chiller unit should have space for cleaning the condenser tube bundle and should not be occupied by other equipment in the workshop.
5. Choose a suitable water pipe diameter that can withstand the cooling system pressure during maximum power operation of the chiller unit and connect it correctly.
6. For ordinary application scenarios, the water flow velocity through the condenser should be between 1.0-3.6m/s, and the water flow rate should be stable under any load condition.
7. The pipeline design and installation are carried out according to conventional methods. The chilled water pump is connected to the inlet pipe of the chiller unit to ensure positive pressure and flow inside the unit, and maintain a certain shock absorption effect to prevent the water in the evaporator from being discharged due to the shutdown of the pump.
8. The fixation of pipelines and units should be separated, and hangers cannot be fixed at the same time. Avoid applying stress to the components of the chiller unit to create a burden.
9. Analyze and treat the cooling water quality of evaporators and condensers. If the water quality is poor, structural materials with higher pollution should be selected to reduce the impact of water quality scaling, sedimentation, corrosive substances on system heat exchange, reduce unit performance, and increase operating and maintenance costs.
10. Install cooling water filters, regularly clean and maintain, and improve water quality.
11. After the leakage test of industrial chiller equipment is completed, anti rust treatment should be carried out on the connecting port.
Precautions for chiller operation:
1. Cold water machine operators must undergo training and master skills, and follow safety operating procedures when carrying out cold water machine operations.
2. Before starting work, carefully check if the cooling water valve is open, and if the water pressure in the chiller water tank and cooling water is normal. Otherwise, do not operate without water; Before starting work, carefully check the condition of each pipeline and ensure that it is correct before starting the chiller.
3. Start sequence of the water cooler: start the cooling water pump and start the compressor; Water cooling mechanism shutdown sequence: Turn off the cooling water pump of the compression mechanism.
4. The temperature of the frozen water cannot be set too low. If the temperature is too low, it will reduce the refrigeration efficiency of the unit and may cause the low-temperature protection action to alarm and shut down. Set the water temperature to slightly lower than the required temperature. If necessary, adjust it while operating, and adjust the water temperature according to actual needs.
5. When the unit experiences a fault alarm and shuts down, first press the stop button of the unit (the alarm light will turn off), then check the cause of the fault. Do not forcefully start and run the unit until the fault is resolved.
6. Do not shut down the unit by cutting off the main power supply unless in an emergency situation; If the unit is stopped for a long time in winter, first shut down the unit, then turn off the main power, and drain the water in the system.
7. When an abnormal situation occurs during operation of the chiller, the power should be immediately turned off and maintenance personnel should be notified to handle it. Turn off the power supply of the chiller, wipe the machine clean, and clean and tidy up the workplace.
