2024-06-14UV laser marking machines do not require a chiller, and some air-cooled lasers may not require a chiller. The marking machine mainly consists of a laser, an external optical path (field mirror, lens, reflector, etc.), a control board circuit, an external control computer, a workbench, and a chiller. The chiller is mainly used for cooling the laser. The internal circuit and optical path of the laser generate heat during operation. In order to ensure stable operation, there is generally temperature and humidity protection. If the limit value is exceeded, it will either automatically shut down or reduce the power. Nowadays, air-cooled lasers do not require chillers and are typically cooled by fans. However, in terms of stability and wide operating temperature, they are lower than water-cooled ones. However, in certain pharmaceutical, semiconductor dust-free, or dry production environments, water-cooled lasers are prone to condensation, forming condensed water that affects production. This type of laser requires air cooling.
