Micromotor type
Micromotors are divided into 13 categories, including DC motors, AC motors, synchro motors, stepper motors, rotary transformers, shaft angle encoders, AC and DC dual-purpose motors, tachogenerators, inductosyn, linear motors, piezoelectric motors, motor sets and other special motors.

1. Brushless DC motor
It is the fastest growing variety in the small motor industry in recent years. With the "small, light and thin" audio-visual products, the silencing of household appliances and the increasing demand for luxury cars, the demand for brushless DC motors has increased rapidly.

It replaces the brush and commutator with electronic commutation. It has the advantages of high reliability, high efficiency, long service life and convenient speed regulation. All countries have accelerated the speed of developing new products and occupying the market. Many Japanese companies have applied brushless DC motors to digital cameras, micro-recorders, cameras, printers, storage drives, mobile phones, car air conditioners, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, electric vehicles and heart pumps.

2. Sheet motor
With the development of electronic products in the direction of miniaturization, lightweight and thinness, its supporting small motors are also required to develop in the direction of "micro, light and thin", and the development of sheet motors has become an inevitable trend. The principle of sheet motor is not much different from that of traditional DC motor. Several Japanese companies have produced chip motors, which have been widely used in soft, hard, optical disk drives, walkman, tape recorder, video recorder, video camera, digital camera, mobile communication and micro medical equipment.

3. Micromotor
Micro and small motors are widely used in fields such as small computers, game consoles, billiard machines, health care, beauty massage, toys for the elderly and children, and mobile communications, such as mobile phones, advanced toy cars, and micro motors for electric toothbrushes. In recent years, the demand has increased rapidly, especially the demand for small motors with a diameter of 3 mm to 6 mm (hollow and solid) and button motors with a diameter of 8 mm to 12 mm.

PC machines, home game machines, health massage and toys for the elderly, women's bodybuilding massage, children's smart toys and small household appliances also need a large number of micro and small motors, most of which are consumer products. From: Home of Electrical Technology

4. Linear motor
It has the advantages of simple structure, non-contact movement, low noise, high speed and accuracy, easy control, convenient maintenance and high reliability. With the continuous innovation of industrial automation level, the application field of linear motor is more and more extensive. All major companies in the world are vigorously researching and developing new products and expanding application fields, and Japanese companies such as Tamagawa, Panasonic and Servo have also developed linear motor products. At present, linear motors have been used in many automation equipment, such as high-speed presses, high-speed cutting machines, satellite antennas, magnetic head drives, plotters, printers, copiers, scanners and electric doors.

5. High-speed hydrodynamic bearing motor
In order to meet the requirements of miniaturization of electronic products, the development of small motors to high-speed is a trend of technological development. For example, the storage density of computer peripherals is rapidly increased, and its supporting spindle brushless motor operates at a high speed of more than 8000 r/min, and many small motors even operate at a high speed of more than 20000 r/min. In order to ensure that small motors can operate at a low noise at a high speed, and that they can still operate stably at a high speed, with small shaking and long service life, At present, high-speed hydrodynamic bearing motors have been developed and produced. There are two types of hydrodynamic bearings: air and liquid. At present, there are many applications of pneumatic bearing, especially for DVD, HDD, CD-ROM and other spindle motors with low noise and shaking requirements under high-speed operation.

6. Subminiature motor
The medical field is the most representative field of the application of micro-mechanical and electronic technology. Mini-invasive endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, precision microsurgery machinery and micro-robots all need ultra-small motors with small size and sufficient power, high flexibility and high flexibility. The micromotor is the key executive and driving component of the micromechanical electronic system. With the continuous improvement and maturity of the manufacturing level of the micromotor, its output and application fields continue to expand, its market potential is huge, and it is expected to become a new economic growth point.
