Laserworld has announced a complete shift to a waterproof design for its successful Purelight range. The new Purelight laser series is IP54 rated, out of the box, suitable for outdoor activities, they don't mind if it rains or not. The Laserworld Purelight series ranges in power levels from 5W to 50W laser power, and all units feature excellent beam specifications and fast scanning, making them suitable for graphic projection as well.

Purelight series lasers are widely used because of the standard built-in ShowNET laser motherboard. Various independent modes of operation and ILDA controls are possible, and there are more specialized options because the ShowNET motherboard has an API that many different software tools can output directly to the laser. This is not limited to classic laser software such as Showeditor or Showcontroller, but professional video and multimedia control software such as MadLaser or Touchdesigner can be output directly to the Laserworld Purelight series of lasers. Without additional licenses or external software to run between the two.

Lighting designers may most appreciate the professional DMX and ArtNet controllability: projection areas and safety zones can be configured directly from the lighting table and stored back to the motherboard, enabling safe laser manipulation with only DMX/ArtNet. Scaling laser Settings this way is very easy because no additional computer is needed.
